FlightTrek Aviation is excited to announce the newest addition to our fleet, a Piper Cherokee 160! The Cherokee 160 has been a popular choice among flight schools for many years due to its reliability and ease of operation. The aircraft was manufactured in 1969, but has been meticulously maintained and upgraded to ensure its safety and reliability for flight training.

The Cherokee 160 is a low-wing, single-engine aircraft that can accommodate up to four passengers, making it a great option for training and cross-country flights. It has a cruise speed of around 110 knots and a range of approximately 500 nautical miles, making it a versatile option for students and instructors alike.

A Training Classic

As a classic aircraft, the Piper Cherokee 160 offers a unique flying experience that modern aircraft cannot match. With its timeless design and simple, reliable technology, the Piper Cherokee 160 is a joy to fly. Students who learn to fly in this aircraft will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the history and evolution of aviation.

It is an excellent addition to our fleet, as it is reliable and easy to maintain. Its simplicity also makes it an excellent training aircraft for novice pilots to learn the basics of flying. With its economical fuel burn and low operating costs, it is a great choice for both private pilots and students on a budget.

The Piper Cherokee 160 has a range of ~482 nautical miles, making it an ideal aircraft for cross-country flights. Its reliable and simple design has made it a favorite among pilots for decades, and it remains a popular choice for flight schools and rental operations. With a spacious cabin, comfortable seating, and a well-designed instrument panel, the Cherokee 160 provides an enjoyable and efficient flying experience for both students and instructors alike.

Flying cross country in the Piper Cherokee 160 is a thrilling experience. With its comfortable cabin and stable flight characteristics, it makes for a great aircraft for those looking to embark on long journeys. Whether you’re a seasoned pilot or a student working towards your license, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of cruising above the Earth, watching the scenery below pass you by. The Cherokee 160’s impressive range and fuel efficiency make it an ideal choice for those looking to explore the world from above. And with its classic design and reliable performance, it’s no wonder that the Cherokee 160 remains a favorite among pilots today.

“I love flying the Cherokee 160. It’s a classic design that’s both reliable and fun to fly. The controls are responsive, and it’s a great airplane for both training and pleasure flying.”
